Pollinator Habit in Port Washington

Please join us August 24, 10-12:30, for a fun-filled pollinator habitat field day at 1522 Lake Drive, in Port Washington, Wisconsin! A recently established pollinator planting will serve as the backdrop for discussion of basic habitat needs of our native pollinators, identification of native pollinator-friendly plants and resources to help you create your own habitat.

Your experts will be...

- Brian and Deanna Karrels – Intro and motivation for creating pollinator habitat on their farmstead. We would also like to thank them for opening their farm to this day of learning! They are also members of the Ozaukee County Farm Demo Network.

- Travis Wilder, Pheasants Forever Partner Biologist: Support for creating pollinator habitat and ROI

- Laura Jach Smith, Pollinator Partnership: Wildflower Plant ID Activity

Please register at https://tinyurl.com/5cu9dhe6 by Monday, August 22.

Lunch will be provided!
